I do think that there should be more technology in schools,especially in those school systems that are "behind the times" so to speak. I believe that every child can benefit from the learning offered through technology. For example, I work with kindergarteners, and just working on a computer independently is totally new to some of them. Some have never used a mouse until they enter the classroom, and they definitely get more involved through interactive SmartBoard lessons.

I believe that there is always room for improvement in all areas. The areas that I would like to improve in most are Excel and producing quality Word documents that have some "pizazz" to them! I am now also more interested in Google.

I think that being formally introduced to Google Earth will really benefit students. When learning about communities in the world, they will be able to get a realistic view of what they are being taught.

I don't think that I have that much left to do on my SMART project. This is due to the fact that I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible because it is for kindergarten students. I want to add a couple of more pages and maybe go back and touch-up the previous pages.

What I liked most about using Wiki is the ability to see others additions on your page. I also liked the ease of editing and saving information. I have not yet discovered what I like least, but I'm sure that I will find out soon.

I hope to learn more ways to use technology with kindergarteners, especially those who have never used a computer before. I would definitely like to learn more about online interactive games as well as games that can be used on the Smartboard. I am hoping to become a stronger user of Excel.
